Eco therapy & training
Accredited Training in Nature Based therapy
Nature-based therapy, also known as eco-therapy or green therapy, has roots that extend deep into human history, predominantly through Indigenous wisdom and practice.
Recently, there has been a resurgence of interest in nature-based therapy as an alternative or complementary approach to traditional psychotherapy.
This training is influenced by Indigenous practices, Eco psychology and gestalt therapy. It values the shared emphasis on interconnectedness, holistic healing, and the integration of mind, body, and spirit.
Delivery is a combination of online learning resources and 1x 3 day weekend residential in nature.
For those seeking the professional certification, assessment of practice and supervision is also required.
This training is an accredited unit of competency recognised by ASQA: https://training.gov.au/training/details/NAT11215004/summary
Participants who register for this training will be issued with a statement of attainment for 200 PD hours.
TRIA also provides individual Nature Based Gestalt therapy sessions: contact us to find out more or book a session.
